Grace Parker is an NYC-based playwright/actor. Her play GRANDMA, IS EVERYTHING GOING TO BE OKAY is currently in development with Kimberly Senior. (Broadway, Jeff Award Winner)  Why We Have Book Club was a finalist for the Jane Chambers Feminist Playwriting Award and was developed with De Frente Productions, 3 Days Prior, Bechdel Group and HB Studio. Her play Double Tap had a developmental reading at Atlantic Theatre Company in 2019 and was a semifinalist for the National Playwrights' Conference and the Thomas Wolfe International Prize.She has been commissioned by Northlight Theatre Education and Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre to write plays for young performers. Other playwriting work includes Dear College, (Lionheart New Works Festival, Award for Playwriting), The Time Lizzie and Jason and Ryan and Heather Went to Ryan's Lakehouse (Sproutworks), which she also starred in,and  Missed Connections, (Manhattan Repertory Theatre: Fall One Act Competition Winner. Her teleplays have been honored by Final Draft's Big Break Competition and NexTV. She has been assistant to playwright Leah Nanako Winkler and Orchard Project Artistic Director Ari Edelson. As an actor, she has worked with Goodman Theatre, Timeline Theatre, Engage Playwrights Lab, Breathe Project, and Rave Festival, among others.
